Plant knowledge is one of the most valuable skills a landscape designer has to sell. Use SppDb (aka Species Database) to make that plant data available while designing. Store information about just those plants that you actually know and work within your local design setting. Use SppDb as a ‘memory jogger’ to find species that solve a particular landscape design problems. Add new species and update SppDb as you become familiar with their growth characteristics to build your Intellectual Property. Easily export data to CAD software.
Tip: SppDb runs happily under CrossOver or Parallels on Macs as well as on Windows PC’s.
Tip: SppDb is supplied with a small set of species data. You will create your own database and add information about favorite plants that do well in your area and refine it as you gain more experience. It is a good idea to start with our sample database and remove unwanted species and add new ones.
